Azbox Premium HD+ plus

AZBox Premium HD+ Receiver is a twin tuner receiver. This allows you to put 2 x DVB-S2 tuners(can mix DVB-S2,DVB-C,DVB-T) and watch one channel, while at the same time you record another. An easy installation of HDD is possible from the top side of Premium HD+.

Twin PVR

AZBox Premium HD+ is a TWIN PVR HD receiver which allows you to watch a channel while at the same time you are recording another.

Blind Scan

The Blind Scan function lets you scan all channels introducing the chosen frequency range (whether they are or not saved in the memory receiver) and, of course, you can choose the satellite and the transponder too. It is a powerful function with control over the search parameters.

TV / Radio Reception

AZBox HD models present high quality image and sound, to allow you to enjoy the reception and reproduction of television or radio contents. You can create personalized Favourites` lists of channels for easier navigation. We also include several built-in lists automatically filled after a scan. AZBox Premium HD + gives you the ability to sort your channels by satellite, genre, provider, country...

Media Player

AZBox HD is also a Media Player with full functionality for media of our modern days. Music, Photos and Video are easily played and accessed with our models. Support for full High Definition format 1080P

Advanced Electronic Program Guide(EPG)

Electronic Program Guide on AZBox HD allows you to schedule the recordings of programs for later viewing, or schedule a watching list that will change the channel automatically to your favorite programs. A new way to never lose your favorite show. TV will never be the same.

Support for a wide range of encryption systems

AZBox Premium HD+ is equipped with two CI slots (Common Interface) as well as one card reader that provides a wide range of decoding options. This means AZBox HD is optimally prepared for any future developments in encryption standards.

IPTV

IPTV on AZBox HD is easy to configure and use. Your IPTV channels will be included on your channel list, and you can browse through them among the other TV channels, or, separately on its own list. Try the new generation of content distribution on your AZBox HD.

Recording and Time Shift

On AZBox HD you will not lose those critical scenes of your favorite show, if you need to leave the room. Just activate the Time Shift function, the reproduction is paused, later you can resume it from that exact moment on. You can also choose to record the show for later viewing, which can be done by pressing a button, or by scheduling the recording. With AZBox HD you have time on your hands.

WIFI

AZBox Premium HD+ model is equipped with a Wi-Fi module that allow you to connect to Internet without need of cables over your home (802.11 b/g networks supported). Also AZBox HD software, supports all kind of Wireless network encryptions, from WEP to WPA2.

File Browser

AZBox HD has a File Browser totally flexible with your local or remote files, so you are able to copy, cut & paste them. You are able to browse files not only on local drive or external drives connected using its USB hosting feature, but you can also experience high level of convenience with its supports for wire/wireless networks, connecting to your PC.

Web Browser

AZBox HD models include an integrated Web Browser that allows you to surf the Internet on your TV, using only your Remote Control. You can store your Favorite sites in a Favorite list, adding any site to that list is just a click away. Increase your Web experience with AZBox HD.

YouTube Player

With AZBox HD, it is possible to watch YouTube videos on your TV, the easy way. You do not need to use a browser, just set your preferences in the categories menu, and you are ready to enjoy the wonders of YouTube. Discover the features implemented in our YouTube Player. Search and organize videos by country, genre, etc. In AZBox HD YouTube Player you can watch the videos in full screen for a better experience.

RSS Reader

AZBox HD models are capable of reading RSS feeds. This option is fully customizable by end user in various ways, enabling you to add any kind of RSS feeds provided by web sites as on-line news, blogs, among others.

File Client

AZBox HD also comes with FTP Client which allows you to connect with AZBox HD to any local or remote FTP server and to store files on it, or to download them to AZBox HD attached HDD.

VFD Display

Channel related information and system operations are displayed via the 11-digit vacuum fluorescence display (VFD) on the elegant front panel of the receiver.

Connectivity

AZBox Premium HD+ is equipped with a wide range of connectors: 2 USB connectors (one on the front side, second on the rear side), that allow users to connect portable media or external USB HDD, to use USB like internal HDD for PVR / Time Shift and media center functions. Internally you have also a S-ATA socket for internal HDD (you can connect a S-ATA disk up to 1000 GB). 

AZBox HD is also equipped with HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) output to enjoy the best picture and audio quality in Full HD 1080p. However to keep the possibility to be used at all screens AZBox HD has digital optical audio output, composite video (YPBPR), video and stereo audio RCA and one SCART connector.
