TBS 6981 card is the updated version of TBS6980. Compared to TBS 6980, TBS 6981 card is more stable and powerful.

PCI-E DVB-S2 Dual Tuner TV card supports dual DVB-S2 TV channels receiving synchronously, which enables you to watch channel from one transporder/satellite while recording another channel from another transporder/satellite. Or you can use one channel for data download while watching TV in another channel in the same time. 
TBS6981 is ideal for building HTPC under Linux MythTV, VDR, XBMC and Windows 7 Media Center.
TBS6981 is compatible with Freesat.

We release a specialized TBS6981 card for Japan market, which is made with 11volt(Vertical) and 15volt(Horizontal) LNB power output compatible with Japan standard, so that the customers from Japan don't need to use extra power converter.

1. TBS6981 linux driver V1.92.2 for all kernels up to version 2.6.34 is released. Please click here to download.

2. TBS6981 driver was updated to V2.0.0.4 which fixes all known issues:
Add workaround for resume from sleep (standby) issues in Windows 7 Media Center, fix for computer freezes/crashes under some circumstances when both tuners are simultaneously in use, new signal quality  calculation that allows better adjustment of the dish.
